Placing a unique spin on the cartoon racing category, Bomberman's latest outing is definitely one to watch. In SUPER BOMBERMAN R, the simple rule remains the same: operate the main character (Bomberman), place bombs. Now, Bomberman is coming back as 'SUPER BOMBERMAN R' to Nintendo Switch.
Summary: Since its release in 1985, Bomberman has been a familiar party-battle game for many years. Bomberman Fantasy Race is a racing video game developed by GraphicResearch Inc., released on Augin Japan for the Sony PlayStation by publisher Hudson Soft. In addition to a split-screen mode, the game's multiplayer features include a wagering system that enables players to become filthy rich (and subsequently purchase more power-ups) through their winnings. Seven tracks in total are planned, including one hidden course and mirrored versions of all. All the while battling via a large assortment of power-ups there are 15 in all, ranging from speed boosts to (who'd have guessed?) lots and lots of bombs. Instead, the Bomber-guy and pals speed around atop twelve different beats: kangaroos, dinosaurs, and more. Following in the footsteps of such games as Motor Toon Grand Prix and Mega Man Battle and Chase, Bomberman Fantasy Race places the little guy ¿ alongside plenty of familiar faces ¿ in a explosive, cartoon-style race to the finish.
